Diversity and Function of Microorganisms in Nature 2008
From BioMineWiki
This is the start page for the PhD course organized at Uppsala University, February 2008
Each student will prepare an article that describes the scope and relevance of their PhD project OR a chosen topic within the scope of the course (Microbial Diversity and Function in Nature). The article should be prepared with fellow students on this course as the intended audience (hence it should be understandable for people outside the specific research field). This should not be a long assay, but a concise article of about one A4 page text. Each article should also contain an effective illustration or photo to accompany the text. In addition you should make AT LEAST one link to existing articles in BioMineWiki and also edit an existing (relevant) article in BioMineWiki and make a link TO your page.
You will begin the work with this article directly after the WIKI-introduction (in room "Musen") but if you need additional time, this can also be completed after the course.
OBS! To allow me to keep track of your pages (without having to screen the entire Recent changes of the wiki), please label each page you create (or change) with "[[Category: PhD-projects]]" at the end of the page!
Some tips:
- Name any pictures/illustrations you may upload with a descriptive name
- After looking at and approving the preview: remember to press "save page"
- For advanced editing, consult Mediawiki manual [1]
Have fun, Stefan
