The top-right panel - the user area - contains links related to the visitor. Here, registered users log in. If registered, you can enter personal settings or access pages that you have edited.

User area links are found in the top right panel if you are logged in.
IP-number or username
Username is shown if you are a registered user; otherwise IP-number is shown. Username or IP-number will lead you to your user page. On this page you can write some information about yourself. Perhaps:
- your occupation
- your special knowledge in mineral processing and metallurgy in general.
- why you are interested in BioMineWiki and its target scientific fields
- your special interests in biohydrometallurgy
- Something else?

If a user writes a message on your talk-page, you will be alerted about it the next time you log in. Use the talk-pages to communicate personal questions or messages to another user.
